As the president of the Young Scientists Forum (YSF) of NASTEC, I had the privilege of attending a skill development workshop titled “Statistical Decision Making in Experimental Research Studies.” This workshop was organized in collaboration with the Institute for Combinatorial Advanced Research Education (KDU-CARE) at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Ratmalana.

The workshop provided valuable insights into statistical methods and decision-making processes essential for conducting experimental research. It was an excellent opportunity to engage with experts, researchers, and fellow scientists, enhancing our understanding of data-driven research practices.

Through this event, participants explored how statistical tools can effectively guide research outcomes, helping researchers make informed decisions. This workshop is a significant step in building stronger analytical capabilities in the scientific community.
