I recently had the pleasure of visiting several high-quality spice farms in the Matale area, where I engaged in insightful discussions with farm owners and farmers. Our conversations focused on developing technologies to enhance spice production quality, including innovative solutions such as dryers, shakers, and separators.

One of the highlights of my visit was agreeing to conduct workshops for local farmers. These workshops will cover in-house technology development and sustainable, green approaches to achieve superior quality products. Additionally, we reached agreements to collaborate on developing an advanced dryer specifically tailored to the needs of these farms.

This visit underscored the importance of integrating technology with traditional farming practices to drive quality and sustainability in spice production. I am excited about the potential these initiatives have to improve productivity and product quality for the farmers in Matale.
